One of the biggest challenges that environment is facing today is global warming. It is a natural phenomenon where the average temperature increases beyond the permissible limit. A warmer earth disrupt the balance of ecosystem and causes negative impact on nature. Frequent floods, droughts, heat waves and Strom affect the natural balance of the system. It is caused by greenhouse effect which is the result of the accumulation of gases like carbon dioxide, methane and nitrous oxide. This harmful gases cover the earth's atmosphere like a blanket and prevent radiation of the Sun's rays. This trapped heat gives rise to the temperature of the environment. Afforestation should be encouraged to prevent the rise of Global Warming. Solar and wind energy should also be used to protect the earth.
