Lightest satellite in the world


18-year-old student Rifat Sharuk, resident of Pallapatti, Tamil Nadu, created the world's lightest satellite. Only 64 gms of this satellite will be launched on June 21 in space. This satellite has been made from carbon fiber polymers.

After the launch of this satellite it will be 240 minutes in space. In it there will be 12 minutes of space molecular geometry. The name of 'Rifat' satellite named after the late President of APJ Abdul Kalam named 'KalamSat'.
